The annual Community-Wide Yard Sale Weekend returns May 15th--May 17th, 2020. Registration begins online and in person on February 1st.


The Chamber of Commerce board will be meeting in early January to set the calendar for 2020. If you have ideas for community events please email them to GarrettsvilleChamber@gmail.com for consideration.

The Nelson Garrettsville Community Cupboard is in need of soup, sloppy joe mix, canned chili, hamburger helper, tuna helper, and hot chocolate. Donations are accepted daily at the Garrettsville Family YMCA.

The James A Garfield High School Cheerleaders will be caroling in Garrettsville neighborhoods on Sunday, December 8 and 15 from 5:00-7:00 pm. They will be singing to collect monetary donations for our local Nelson Garrettsville Community Cupboard. Cash or checks will be accepted.

The Garrettsville Police Department will be hosting a Fill A Cruiser Event in front of Save A Lot on December 7, 2019, from 9am until 1pm. We will be collecting non-perishable food items that will be donated to the Nelson Garrettsville Community Cupboard. We will also be accepting cash donations that will go the Hiram/Garrettsville Shop with a Cop Program.

The People Tree Sharing Program needs your help! Bell Ringers are needed in various locations this holiday season. We need 1 adult or at least 2 students, up to 4.

Stop out at Garrettsville Farmers’ Market’s Fall Harvest Market this afternoon!

The Garrettsville Cemetery Association is sponsoring a training session on cleaning old gravestones at the Baptist Cemetery on Maple Ave. on Saturday, October 5 from 10 am until 4 pm.
Tim Foor, who has been working on repairing the broken and tipped stones and obelisks at the Cemetery for several months, will be teaching the correct and safe way to clean the years of dirt and mold off the old markers, without damaging the stone or the lettering.
Brushes that are safe for using on the delicate old stones, as well as a cleaning agent, spray bottles and water will be provided by the Cemetery Association

Join us at Sky Plaza this Saturday from 2-5 for the final Cruise Night of 2019.
Afterwards head over to the Nelson Ledges Road Course for the 24-hour Enduro Race!
