Dear Friends, I hope you and your loved ones remain healthy and well. While our nation continues to combat the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, it’s important that we continue to stay informed. That's why, Wednesday at 11AM, I am hosting a COVID-19 Telephone Town Hall for small businesses.

As of 2018, over 99% of all Ohio businesses were small businesses, and they employed 2.2 million Ohioans. However, the COVID-19 outbreak is taking a heavy toll on these businesses, those who own them and the workers they employ. In addition to ensuring the health and safety of Ohioans during this unprecedented time, it is critical that we also protect our small businesses and ensure they have the support they need. Over the last couple of weeks, Congress has passed three different relief packages that include provisions relating to small business. I want to make sure small businesses know what resources have been made available, how to access them, and how they will help them get through this challenging time.  Joining me on tomorrow's telephone town hall to help keep our small businesses informed are representatives from:

  • The Small Business Administration
  • The Greater Cleveland Partnership
  • The Ohio Chamber of Commerce
  • The Small Business Development Center at Lakeland Community College
  • The Growth Partnership for Ashtabula County
  • The Willoughby Western Lake County Chamber of Commerce

If you have a small business that has been impacted by the economic crisis caused by the COVID-19 outbreak, be sure to join me Wednesday at 11AM by calling 855-408-1334. You can also listen in via this audio streaming link.

Stay well,

Dave
